Are you living your calling? What a new calendar year does provide, is for each of us to review our lives, our way of doing and to see whether we are still functioning within the calling and purpose to which the Lord has appointed us. Are you doing what you are supposed to be doing, what must be changed for you to fulfil your purpose and to flow in the anointing that God has given you. It is an opportunity to make decisions and take back satan’s control over your life and to start afresh on the path of the Lord. 5775 - Hebrew Year We are currently in year 5775 of the Hebrew calendar. It comprises 2 key numbers namely 5 and 7. 5 – Grace Grace is to know Him. We can know that He loves us so much that He gave up His life, therefore we can live forever. Grace is to know that I am forgiven and that I am accepted as His son/daughter and nothing can take me out of His hands. Grace is to enable me to have victory over the things of this world. Grace means that even if I stumble and fall, He will be next to me. He will never give up on me or get disappointed. Grace is to be enabled me to get up and walk upright before Him and even if everything is against me, that He is for me. It is the knowledge that it is not this world that determines me, but what Jesus did for me. Grace is not to accomplish things but to endure, persevere and to overcome this world by growing in godliness and holiness. It is to show forth His Glory and Grace 7 - Perfection I am not talking about perfection from a worldly sense, but to be moulded into His image, day by day. This means that I am empowered by His spirit in order to endure, persevere and to conquer. It also means that I should live in love, peace and joy, rise above my circumstances, no matter what. To rule and reign with Him in Heavenly places. Perfection is to be spirit-lead and to be truth walkers and not just truth hearers. It means that I must change day by day, little by little and choose to be true to His Spirit and Truth and not to focus on our own ambitions or desires. Perfection is to see the true identity of Christ in me revealed! What an amazing new season! An opportunity to grow from glory to glory!
World-wide turmoil What we see manifesting in the natural, is often what is already happening in the spiritual world that is beginning to manifest. It is clear that we are entering into the final age that is prophesied in the Bible. In the book of Revelation we read that the flaming red horse came out, whose rider was empowered to take peace from the earth: Rev 6:3 And when He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature call out, Come! Rev 6:4 And another horse came out, flaming red. And its rider was empowered to take the peace from the earth, so that men slaughtered one another; and he was given a huge sword. There is an acceleration in the intensity of the spiritual battle taking place around us. There is an increase in perversion, hate, crime and war. All over the world we can see anger and discontent bursting open, resulting in violence, war and contention. Invest wisely Economists are predicting doom and gloom and Jonathan Cahn, predicts the collapse of share prices at the end of the Shemitah Year (Sabbatical year). The Sabbatical Year ends on Elul 29, the last day on the Hebrew calendar before the Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish new year. This will occur towards the middle of September 2015. His prediction is based on a seven year cycle of stock exchange collapses that corresponds with the end of the Sabbatical year. Most of our pension funds are locked into investments on the stock exchange and we are subject to investment decisions of fund managers. However, Solomon advises in the Book of Proverbs that we should invest wisely and spread our investments in seven to eight different areas so as to spread the risk of our investments. I have a sense that we have to act conservatively and wisely when investing our resources in this year. Get out of debt Given the volatility of the markets and worldwide economic conditions it is also wise to reduce your debt and not to incur unnecessary debt this year. Live prudently and conservatively and stay out of debt as far as possible. Reduce your debts as much as you can and live within your means. If at all possible, build up a cash nest-egg. As Christians we need to band together, pray more, seek the face of the Lord and to remain faithful to the Word of God in our hearts. The Lord gave me the following Scripture in Luke 6:27-38 as a guideline for my life in 2015, and I wish to share it with you. Love your enemies: Luke 6:27 But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you {and} pursue you with hatred, Luke 6:35 But love your enemies and be kind {and} do good [doing favours so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting {and} hoping for nothing in return {but} considering nothing as lost {and} despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind {and} charitable {and} good to the ungrateful {and} the selfish and wicked. Love them as Jesus loved you, even before you knew Him. Love them enough to pray for their salvation and that the love of Christ will also enter into their hearts. Bless those who curse you Leave judgment to the Lord. A curse without a cause will not fall upon you, therefore you can bless and encourage even those that revile you. Luke 6:28 Invoke blessings upon {and} pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God's blessing (favour) upon those who abuse you [who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you]. Luke 6:37 Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn {and} pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned {and} pronounced guilty; acquit {and} forgive {and} release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted {and} forgiven {and} released. Do not retaliate! If you retaliate, you play according to the enemy’s rules. Function with love and do not withhold goodness when dealing with people that attack you. Luke 6:29 To the one who strikes you on the jaw {or} cheek, offer the other jaw {or} cheek also; and from him who takes away your outer garment, do not withhold your undergarment as well. Luke 6:36 So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. Freely give! Luke 6:30 Give away to everyone who begs of you [who is in want of necessities], and of him who takes away from you your goods, do not demand {or} require them back again Luke 6:34 And if you lend money at interest to those from whom you hope to receive, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? Even notorious sinners lend money at interest to sinners, so as to recover as much again. Luke 6:38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you. Open your heart and give as people ask from you. Do not expect anything back from people. See it as seed that is sown into the Kingdom of God and you will be surprised at the abundant return that the Lord will give you. Treat people as you would like to be treated Luke 6:31 And as you would like {and} desire that men would do to you, do exactly so to them. Luke 6:32 If you [merely] love those who love you, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? For even the [very] sinners love their lovers (those who love them).Luke 6:33 And if you are kind {and} good {and} do favours to {and} benefit those who are kind {and} good {and} do favours to {and} benefit you, what quality of credit {and} thanks is that to you? For even the pre-eminently sinful do the same. Treat people with love and respect, in the same way that you expect people to treat you. People will respond in the manner in which you act towards them and you will make friends with more people than you can expect.
Young Adults Ministry in Cape Town Letitia and I will coordinate the Young Adults Ministry at the Logos Church in Brackenfell in Cape Town on Sunday evenings this year. We will be starting (DV) on Sunday 24 January 2015. This will mean that we may not be able to travel all over the country as much as we want to this year. However, we are preparing to use our website as a tool where we can post all our teachings and revelations so that more people can receive it with the click of a button. Be an arrow Be an arrow in The Lords hands in this year. Shoot straight and aim at the target that the Lord has set out for you. Direct the flow of your circumstances. Be the change where you are and bring light in a broken world. You can do this by living the truth, not only knowing it. Be guided and lead by The Holy spirit and be a partaker of the building of only God’s Kingdom. This is the season that God s grace and love will be revealed. Be part of it!!

May the Lord bless and keep you and may His face shine upon you and may He bless you in this year. Keep a single focus. Seek His face in everything and seek more of Him less of you.
