Time to surrender
The Lord requires of us to be holy. We need to surrender ourselves unto Him with the heart knowledge that we cannot be holy from own strength or by our own deeds. Only in total surrender unto Him, expecting longing and looking at Him for our redemption, guidance by His Spirit and protection by His angels.
We therefore declare and proclaim in the Name of Jesus Christ that 2016 will be a year of total surrender and exceptional holiness. The Lord shared the following Scripture in Chronicles with Letitia:
And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts {and} minds and understands all the wanderings of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] you will find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever! (1 Chr 28:9).
Total surrender means that you can be submit in all things to the Will of God in every area of your life. In this position of surrender, you will see the exceptional things happening. Total surrender means also that you need to walk in the godly character and example of Jesus Christ.
Character of Jesus
If you represent the character of Jesus in all areas of your life, purity and holiness will be your trademark. The character of Jesus will require of you to endure and persevere. Out of this position, you will stand in awe what The Lord will do for and through you. In this year the true sons and daughters of God will be revealed.
Total submission to God means that you will have to submit to Him in all the areas of your life, flowing free by the guidance of The Holy Spirit, away from control by the world and of the opinions of people. Keeping a single-minded focus on the ways of the Lord.
Fulfillment of the revealed Word
Out of this position of surrender, you will see the Word going into fulfillment right in front of your eyes when you speak The Word of God as it is revealed to you by The Holy Spirit.
In this year the Light of the Lord will shine brighter and the works of darkness will bring darker oppression where satan reigns. In the world things will get worse but the children of God will be shining lights. The false prophets will be revealed as they will become more and more like the spirit of the world. Religious leaders will run in the worldly end-time spirit of self-centeredness and selfishness. They will look more and more like the world, living and desiring the things of the world.
Year of exceptionals
This year will be the year of exceptionals. The test that you passed last year will bring fruit in your life. In this year you will see an acceleration of the following:
- Hope to the hopeless by the power of the Holy Spirit;
- Healing to the sick;
- Life to the dead
- Greater awareness of God
Time to decide
This is the year where you have to get to the point of making major decisions. Is Jesus enough for you? Is He everything for you? Are you content with Him alone? Only if you can live in full surrender unto the Lord in every area of your life, choosing Him, desiring Him and submitting to His will for your life, you will be able to stand in mature unity with Him.
We bless you with the exceptionals in your life in this year. May you surrender completely unto Him and receive the blessings which He has already bestowed upon you.

It is God who will enable you to carry out the surrender. And, on the other side, come and say: “I give myself absolutely to God, to let Him work in me to will and to do of His good pleasure, as He has promised to do.” Yes, the living God wants to work in His children in a way that we cannot understand, but that God’s Word has revealed, and He wants to work in us every moment of the day. God is willing to maintain our life. Only let our absolute surrender be one of simple, childlike, and unbounded trust.
